Martes 23 de Noviembre del 2004 : Good Game!
Strangelly I changed the slots where my ram dims where installed on my motherboard and made HL2 work and beat the game last sunday. Altough the game is very fun, good quatlity and really satisfactory gameplay, it's ending isn't. I mean, I liked the chase for Dr. Breen and all that but not g-man stopping the time and all the Twillight zone-ish monologue He made. The ending felt like the new "Planet of the Apes" had. Just too much.
A run for your f***inkg life, you have 2 minutes left to escape would do much better. Valve guys wanted to make a big "WTF!!!11!1" ending? and they did and exagerated on it. Maybe they showed different endings to a group of HalfLife nerds and measured their "WTF!-face", made changes to the ending sequence until the whole group coudln't sleep with a grim WTF-face, that or their anus was also dirstorted with a "WTF!-look" too.
Maybe Valve plans to make a sequel and wished to let the world know. Instead of suggesting it, they paved the way all along with signs, street lights and even a bus stop for HL2 nerds come by and sleep at Valve door's until the sequel it's released.
At the moment I am playing the game at Hard difficulty and trying to see the g-man appearings on the game (i've seen screenshots of at least 12) and other details I read on the HL2 boards at steampowered.com
